Charlie you are such a handsome big boy. I know you are going to do so well this year. Last year of Infants.
I've had such big empty hole in my stomach all day. It was tough a drop off. I felt choked. I have missed him so much!
Gawd knows how I am going to cope next week when Rufus joins him!

I feel your pain. I dropped off my year 2 and 3 boys off yesterday and the house was still and I missed them so much

ReplyDeleteI know that feeling I only have one child and when my boy start school in 2010 I was so sad, now he started second grade and still I feel sad when he started school, but I know he enjoy been there with other kids so that make me happy.

ReplyDeleteHanding them back over at the end of the holidays is such a wrench isn't it? Totally know what you mean about the hole in your stomach. My two boys (5 and 7) both went back today - they were so brave until the reality of their new classrooms hit them then there were tears from both of them. I have been moping all day - work will have to wait until tomorrow. Hope next week goes well for Rufus :)

ReplyDeleteTotally know how your feeling . Daisy started reception yesterday , she was fine but I had a tears. Can't believe the time has come to hand over my best friend 5 days a week - feels so unnatural ! Hope next weeks ok for you x
ReplyDeleteAh Lou...I've just seen this. It's horrid isn't it. My daughter started Year 1 this week which was fine all round but my son starts nursery next week and I know we will both be crying...my baby! Hope it was easier today. xx
