*sigh*
In February it is so difficult to take a good image.
Everything is blurry and grey.
Best wait until Spring truly arrives.
I went to the local flea market today, and bought a pretty mirror and a small painting of the pinkest roses. I will show you when I can.

-love the bird at the second photo
and the apple print ,still have to get one

Thanks Kay!
DeleteThe bird is by a Mama of one of Rufus' class mates. Here is a link to them: http://www.avaandbea.co.uk/ It doesn't look like they have the birds on their website, maybe email them.
Yes - get an apple... it is rather special! x
Love it all Lou but especially the picture taped up on the wall in the last picture - is that one of yours? Jo xx
ReplyDeleteHi Jo, thank you. Yes it is. I've been playing with water colours again. And hopefully this will become part of a new collection. xx
Deleteoh, i know the feeling. i find that i become so frustrated with my camera and the light. i anxiously await the arrival of spring.
ReplyDeletethey are lovely images though, very calming and dreamy.
Thank you... xx
DeleteYour kitchen is looking lovely Lou. Am also liking your new header - when did you change? Have I been very slow? Sorry! X
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, thank you! I still need to get some shelves up, it's slowly getting there. I changed the header last week. I am constantly fiddling with my blog! x
DeleteI love the blue in your kitchen, and your new water colour taped up is beautiful, i love those colours! Can I ask how you've secured your plates on the wall? I am determined to do something with my vinatage plates, and I think I have a little corner which would be perfect for them!
ReplyDeleteHi, Thank you!
DeleteThe plates are secured by using these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adhesive-Plate-Hanger-Mixed-Hanging/dp/B005GKGA5S/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1361720153&sr=8-9
They are great. No accidents yet!

Looking really good over there - I passed your house on Friday, btw. Can I steal the colour of blue for one wall of girls room? I need a "night sky" colour without it looking gloomy...
ReplyDeleteSam, you should have knocked and came in for a cuppa! Would have been lovely to see you! Yes of course you can. The colour is Blues Blue by the Paint and Paper library.. http://www.paintlibrary.co.uk/ I got it mixed in Bracey's Interiors in Clifton Village. x
DeleteCheers. I was carrying an enormous roll of bubble wrap and 2 picture frames and running to catch the airport bus! Am doing driving lessons in Brizzle again - at last! so I could pop by in a couple of weeks.
DeleteYour house is a beauty! xx
Ah, lovely <3
ReplyDeleteahhh Lou, you're home is so dreamy! i will have a home like yours one day! (when i can actually put things on the wall without them ripping a hole in the silly plaster board!)

I have been thinking the exact same thing. I can't wait for better light to take photographs. Still, your place looks lovely.

Ah, looks lovely - agree with everyone else that your watercolour is very pretty - looking forward to seeing your new pieces! And I spy my little cacti card :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Love the grey grout in your kitchen tiles. Out white grout is now very stained - I think I need to do something similar. Gorgeous pictures and plates and bits and bobs too.
