Folksy Summer School...

This was the Folksy Summer School 2013 from Folksy on Vimeo.

Earlier in the summer the good people at Folksy ran their very first Summer School - set in the woods near Sheffield, UK.  A beautiful weekend for crafters & designer / makers to get together, chat, make and learn new skills.  The line-up of speakers was impressive and a chance to learn that craft you've always wanted to try.

I was invited to come along - but sadly couldn't make it.  (Now I wish I had changed my plans!).  It looks like a thoroughly wonderful time was had by all.

Folksy, can I come next year?

busy busy

I have been super busy this week.
It's all very exciting.
After much encouragement from friends and family I am busy sorting out prints and cards.
I am hoping to open up an Etsy and Folksy shop very soon.
{eeeek!}
I am a little nervous, I don't know if people will actually buy them!!?!!
Fingers crossed... we will see.

I have some other little projects up my sleeve, I just need to practice and work things out first.
{Suprises}
Hopefully the shops will be up and open in a week.

shops open!

My lovely friend Mel has just opened her shop over at Folksy!
It is just the tea towels at the moment, but she is busy printing some amazing new lino prints as we speak ready for the forthcoming Affordable Art Fair next week.
She is super talented, so please support the lovely Mel and pop along to her blog and shop!
She tells me that prints & canvas bags will soon be available too - yay!
